Draft: have a lawyer review before launch

Terms of service

These terms govern your use of postmonet, a marketplace where brands book creators to post about launches on X. By creating an account you agree to them.

Last updated 21 October 2026.

1. Who we are and what we do

postmonet connects brands with creators. Brands create campaigns and book creators. Creators set a price and agree to post. postmonet holds the brand's money for each booking, checks that the post happened as agreed, and releases payment to the creator. We are a marketplace and a payments coordinator, not a party to the content a creator publishes.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Brand accounts are opened by someone authorised to act for the company.
  • Each account is either a brand or a creator account, chosen when you join.
  • Creators connect an X account they own. We read followers, account age and posts to verify it. We never post on your behalf.
  • Creator accounts are approved automatically when their X account passes our checks, or by a person. We may decline, suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Bookings

A booking is an agreement between a brand and a creator on a price, a deliverable (a quote post, an original post or a repost) and a posting window. One counter offer is allowed per booking. Once both sides accept, the booking is binding, subject to these terms.

4. Money

  • Wallet. Brands add money to a wallet. Amounts are in US dollars unless shown otherwise.
  • Escrow. When a booking is agreed, the creator's fee plus the platform fee is set aside from the wallet. It is held until the post is verified.
  • Platform fee. The platform fee is a percentage of the creator's fee, added on top and paid by the brand: 15% on Starter and 10% on Growth. Enterprise brands agree a custom fee with us in writing.
  • Release. After a post that is on time and carries a clear paid label, payment is released following a 48 hour review window, unless a flag is open. A brand may release payment earlier.
  • Refunds. If a creator does not post by the end of the posting window plus one day, the booking is cancelled and the brand is refunded. A brand may cancel a booking before the campaign launches for a full refund of held funds.
  • Payouts. Creators can withdraw their available balance from $25. Payout timing depends on the payout method and provider. You are responsible for your own taxes; we may ask for tax information before paying you.
  • Processing fees. Payment providers may charge a fee when money is added. It is shown before you pay.
  • Plans. Brands choose a paid plan, billed monthly by our payment partner, and money is only set aside for a deal while a plan is active. Plans can be cancelled at any time. A plan sets the platform fee and features.
  • Funds held for bookings are not interest-bearing and are not a bank deposit.

5. Paid-post disclosure

Every paid post must be clearly disclosed as paid. See the paid-post policy. Creators agree to label every paid post. Brands agree not to ask a creator to omit a label.

6. Flags and disputes

A post without a clear label, a post outside the window, or a problem reported by the brand can place a flag on a booking and hold its payment. The creator may respond. For flags raised automatically, the brand may waive the flag or escalate it; a flag no one acts on for 5 days is closed in the creator's favour. A person at postmonet decides escalated disputes and may uphold them with a refund of between 0% and 100% of the booking, or dismiss them. Our decision on how held funds are allocated is final within the platform; it does not limit your legal rights.

7. Acceptable use

  • No fake or purchased engagement, bots, or automated clicks on tracked links.
  • No misleading, unlawful, hateful or infringing content, and nothing that breaks X's rules.
  • No attempts to move a booking, or its payment, off postmonet to avoid fees.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering or interfering with the service.

We may suspend accounts and withhold or reverse payments connected to breaches of these rules.

8. Content and data

Creators own their posts. Brands may not edit or repurpose a creator's post beyond what they agreed. We use the numbers we collect to run the service, to show verified results to brands and to publish creator profiles. See our privacy policy.

9. What we do not promise

We do not guarantee views, clicks, signups or sales. Measurements come from X and from tracked links and can be incomplete. The paid-label check is not legal advice and can miss things. Brands and creators stay responsible for following advertising and endorsement laws.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, postmonet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time once your bookings are settled. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms. Money you are owed stays yours; money held for an open booking is settled as described above.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. Questions: see contact. Governing law and venue will be set out here once the operating entity is confirmed.
